NLT FrontNatchez Little Theatre has been entertaining Natchez and the Miss-Lou since 1932, making it one of the oldest  community  theatres in the South! Community theatre has been an integral part of life in Natchez since 1802. The  business and individual support of Natchez Little Theatre’s members and sponsors make it possible for NLT to produce  over 100 performances of eight shows each season,  the most ambitious season for any volunteer community  theatre in the area, if not the country. It also  allows NLT to present free performances of all productions for local area nursing home residents,  their families and   health care providers as well as the  Natchez Children’s Home. NLT also presents special student  matinees of all productions for local area youth. The members of the Board of  Directors as well as NLT’s stage directors, actors and crew are  made up of volunteers from throughout Natchez and the  Miss-Lou. It is the desire of Natchez Little Theatre to present the finest  entertainment for the community and the many  visitors who come to the beautiful historic city of Natchez, throughout the year. Natchez Little Theatre plays to audiences from all over the world, twelve months of the year.  Last season over 23, 000 patrons attended NLT. Many of NLT's productions have been aired on Mississippi Broadcast, National Public Radio and local channel 4.  Members and Sponsors of NLT come from within a 3 hour radius and patrons come from around the world making NLT a very unique community theatre. The Sponsors are celebrated in every curtain talk and at the Standing Ovation Awards Gala, which closes each season.

Natchez Little Theatre holds workshops for youth and adults alike. The Summer Youth Workshop has over 50 diverse participants from the ages of 7 to 18. The Adult Acting Workshops are taught by accomplished professionals from around the country..

NLTNatchez Little Theatre’s Production of Southern Exposure, performed during the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage every March and  April, has been the toast and talk of tour groups for over 40 years! During Natchez Fall Pilgrimage, every October, Mississippi  Medicine Show or Big River has entertained tour groups and locals for over 30 years, even touring the nation to critics’ praise and it alternates annually with Big River. NLT’s own  musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic, entitled A Natchez Christmas Carol entertains  audiences  every weekend in December and is an annual favorite. Natchez Little Theatre hosts Dinner Theatre for tour  groups of twenty or more and has always offered discounted ticket prices for large groups.
